🍼StrollerFriendly

About Stroller Friendly

Why This Exists

It started at a metro station in Lisbon. Standing at the top of a long, steep staircase, eight-month-old in the stroller, no elevator in sight, and a city map that said nothing about any of this.

We'd done the research — read the travel blogs, checked the “family-friendly” guides. Nobody mentioned the cobblestones that shake your baby awake. Nobody warned about the 400 bridges with steps in Venice. Nobody said “take the bus instead of the metro in Paris.”

So we built the guide we wished existed. We researched hundreds of parent forums, accessibility reports, city infrastructure data, and first-hand travel accounts to answer the one question parents actually have: “Can I bring my stroller to this city, or should I pack the carrier?”

The Problem We're Solving

Travel information for parents is scattered, vague, and often sugar-coated. “Family-friendly!” doesn't tell you whether you'll spend half your vacation carrying a stroller up stairs. We compile and analyze real parent experiences, city accessibility data, and transit information to give you honest, specific, practical answers — not marketing fluff.

What Makes Us Different

🎯

One Clear Answer

A single score and verdict. No wading through 3,000-word posts to find what you need.

📊

Transparent Scoring

Seven factors, weighted by impact. You can see exactly why a city got its score.

🔍

Research-Driven

Built on in-depth research of real parent experiences, accessibility reports, and local infrastructure data — not travel influencer fluff.

🤷

Honest About Uncertainty

We tell you when our data is limited. A confident wrong answer is worse than an honest "we're still learning."

Our Promise

  • We will never recommend a city as stroller-friendly when it isn't
  • We will always show our methodology
  • We will update scores when conditions change
  • We will be transparent about our data quality and confidence levels
  • We will always prioritize parent safety over engagement metrics
