Buenos Aires is a flat city with grand, wide avenues that are great for strollers - in theory. The reality is that sidewalks are often cracked, uneven, and interrupted by tree roots. Argentine culture is extremely child-friendly though: children are welcome everywhere, even in late-night restaurants, and porteños will actively help parents. Palermo's parks are excellent, and the city's flat terrain means no hill battles. The Subte (metro) has limited accessibility.

💡 Tip: Puerto Madero's waterfront is the most stroller-friendly area in Buenos Aires — wide, flat, modern boardwalks with restaurants and the Ecological Reserve (free, flat trails along the river). The Subte (metro) is mostly NOT stroller-accessible — use buses or taxis instead. San Telmo's Sunday market is fun but extremely crowded; go early with a carrier.
