Da Nang represents modern Vietnam at its most family-accessible. The beachfront areas are flat and well-developed for tourism, with modern hotels and facilities. The city is much less chaotic than Hanoi or HCMC, with wider streets and better infrastructure. Vietnamese beach culture is very family-oriented. The nearby attractions (Hoi An, Ba Na Hills) require planning but are doable.

Da Nang is the most stroller-friendly city in Vietnam — wide roads, beach boardwalks, and modern infrastructure. September-October has typhoon risk; dry season (Feb-Aug) is ideal.

UNESCO town with lantern-lit streets, tailors, and incredible food. Car-free Old Town is flat and stroller-perfect. Just 30 minutes from Da Nang.

Former imperial capital with citadel, palaces, and royal tombs. Flat grounds within the citadel. Rich history and beautiful architecture.
Há»™i An is unmissable and close enough to visit multiple times. Drive the Hải Vân Pass to Huế for stunning coastal scenery — or take the easy tunnel route if prone to car sickness.
