Dubai is purpose-built for comfort and accessibility. Malls are enormous and universally equipped with elevators, baby rooms, and family parking. The metro is modern and fully accessible. The two big challenges: extreme heat makes outdoor strolling impossible for much of the year, and the city is very spread out. But inside the malls and attractions? It's among the best in the world for stroller families.

Things to do
Inside Dubai Mall — the 10-million-litre tank is visible for free from the mall. The paid tunnel walk puts you surrounded by sharks. Fully stroller-accessible, air-conditioned, and kids under 3 free.

Dubai is an indoor city — plan most activities inside malls and attractions (AC is essential May-October). Outdoor activities like beaches and parks are best November-March when temperatures are bearable.

Where to stay
Walkable beachfront with The Walk at JBR — flat promenade, restaurants, shops, and beach access. Marina Mall nearby. Modern buildings = excellent elevators and facilities.
Right next to Dubai Mall, Fountain, and Burj Khalifa. Premium prices but you can walk to the biggest attractions. Souk Al Bahar nearby for dining.
Dubai excels at hotel apartments — full kitchen, washing machine, pool, gym, often cheaper than regular hotels. Look in Dubai Marina or Business Bay for best value.
In Dubai, hotel stars mean more space, not just luxury. A 4-star hotel apartment in Marina gives you 60m² with kitchen for less than a 5-star hotel room. Ask for pool-view rooms — kids love watching swimmers from above.
Beyond the city
The Louvre Abu Dhabi is stunning and fully stroller-accessible. Combine with Yas Waterworld (surprisingly good toddler area) or Ferrari World. A full day out.
Morning safaris are gentler than evening ones (less extreme dune bashing). Camel rides, sandboarding, falcon photos. Most operators offer family packages with smaller vehicles.

Rent a car or use Uber/Careem — Dubai is very spread out and public transport doesn't reach theme parks. Car seats are legally required and most rental companies provide them free.
