Siem Reap exists for Angkor Wat - incredible temples but dusty roads and basic infrastructure.
Planning your trip?
Siem Reap is all about accessing Angkor Wat, one of the world's greatest archaeological sites. The town has basic infrastructure with dusty roads and limited accessibility. However, Cambodian people are incredibly welcoming to families, and the temples, while challenging, are manageable with carriers and planning. This is an adventure destination requiring flexibility and realistic expectations.
